LISTEN: Emma Watson Sings “Something There” From Beauty and the Beast

Newly Released Photos of "Beauty and the Beast" Starring Emma Watson

One of the most-awaited movies of 2017 is the live-action adaptation of Beauty and the Beast, a tale of an arrogant young prince who is turned into a beast, and who must make a girl fall in love with him to return to his human form. It is the first animated feature to be nominated for the Academy Award for Best Picture.

It has become a classic, and everyone’s excited because Harry Potter star Emma Watson will be taking on the iconic role of Belle. We’ve seen photos of her wearing the yellow gown, and in trailers.

She looks absolutely stunning.

One question remains: can she sing? It turns out, yes, she can.

Listen to the clip below:

In an Instagram clip shared by producer Jack Morrissey, he said, “Get ready for this one guys… FIRST LISTEN AT EMMA SINGING “SOMETHING THERE”!!!! I am officially floored, if she wasn’t perfect enough this has absolutely nailed her as #Belle!

I cannot wait for this movie!!!”

It was followed by a recording of the song “Something There.”

The clip was taken from a fan account, who took the recording from a Belle Hasbro doll. There’s no word how Watson’s vocals were programmed into a doll.

The live action adaptation will feature a powerhouse cast led by Emma Watson as Belle, Dan Stevens as Beast, Luke Evans as Gaston, Emma Thompson as Mrs.

Potts, Ewan McGregor as Lumière, Ian McKellen as Cogsworth, and Stanley Tucci as Cadenza.

It will premiere on March 17, 2017.
