Pokémon fans have a ton to look forward to in the coming months after the president and CEO of The Pokémon Company, Tsunekazu Ishihara, revealed its lineup of games and mobile apps that promise more unique ways to discover and experience the Pokémon franchise.
Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield Expansion Passes: The Isle of Armor
According to the Nintendo website, “The first new adventure unlocked by the Expansion Passes takes place on the Isle of Armor, an island of the Galar region. Many Pokémon make this island their home, living freely amid the lush nature. The island is also home to a dojo for Pokémon battles, where players and their Pokémon will train hard to become even stronger under Mustard, the dojo’s master.”

New Pokémon Snap
This new game for the Nintendo Switch is a remake of the old game released in 1999 where you can explore mysterious islands to discover and take photos of Pokémon creatures for your Photodex.
Pokémon Café Mix
This free-to-play game on both the Nintendo Switch console and mobile is an adorable tile-matching puzzle game where you work in a coffee shop alongside Pokémon and help serve orders by playing levels. Completing challenges helps you upgrade to more tools and power-ups which can then be used to lure in rarer customers!
Pokémon GO update
Pokémon GO will also be getting an update by letting players discover Mega-Evolved creatures in the real world. For those who don’t know, Mega-Evolution happens when a trainer holds a key stone and their evolved Pokémon carries the corresponding Mega-Stone. As a result, the Pokémons become much stronger in battle.
Pokémon Smile
This game was created with young fans in mind by using Pokémon to encourage kids to brush their teeth properly. How it works is that kids will have to fight cavity-causing bacteria in their mouth while brushing their teeth and, in the process, catch new Pokémon which they can monitor in their in-app Pokédex.
