Located on the ground floor of the iconic Lighthouse Marina Resort, Sands Resto Grill is best known for its breakfast buffet. For only PhP500, you can already enjoy a wide variety of breakfast goodies including different kinds of bread, cereals, and viands.

What I really enjoyed here, though, was their coffee. In fact, I was able to prove that what I had been hearing was definitely right. They really served good-tasting coffee.

Actually, that was just a warmup for the real thing: their Special Blend Coffee. In my case, I requested for sweetener and milk to neutralize it a bit (my tummy can no longer survive black coffee – thanks, hyperacidity!). Honestly, it was among the best coffee I had ever tasted. The coffee addict in me found a special connection to Subic because of this. Something to come back for indeed!

Of course, the epic breakfast experience would not be complete without the great view of the bay from where I was seated. What a perfect way to start a hectic day!
