When In Manila, power personalities visit and leave life lessons behind. Last June 27, at The Monochrome Nuvali, best-selling author of the The Purpose Driven Life book and Senior Pastor of Saddleback Church, Rick Warren, visited and talked about why being connected is so important.

Now you may think, what kind of connection this is. Would it be the one we find on facebook, instagram or any other social media platform? Would it be our friends, family, officemates?
The kind of connection Rick Warren spoke about was being connected to a church and that there is a difference between being an “attender” vs a “member”. Here are the benefits to that one connection that will last forever – a church family.
1. It connects you to God’s eternal temple. The Benefit : You get support & stability
2. It connects you to Christ’s body. The Benefit : You get life & growth because you can’t fulfill God’s purpose in your life by yourself.
