Typhoon Ulysees struck the archipelago last November 11, 2020. Most of our fellow countrymen experienced this natural calamity but our farmers in Cagayan were affected the most. With the pandemic still ongoing and the typhoon recently affected their livelihood, our farmers are having a difficult time getting back on their feet.  As such, with social media being a powerful mode of sharing ideas and advocacies, CATALYST of UA&P aims to raise continue supporting the livelihood of farmers in the Cagayan Valley.

The project will take place on February 08 – February 13, 2021, where CATALYST of UA&P will raise awareness to the community of the situation of our farmers in Cagayan while at the same time, hold a fundraiser by either accepting monetary donations and through selling t-shirts that are dedicated to supporting the cause.

It is important to note that CATALYST will collaborate with Rural Rising PH, an organization that aims to support the country’s food security, achieve environmental sustainability, and drive economic opportunity. In an effort to raise funds for donations, the audience could donate through the specified channel/s (i.e. PayMaya, GCash, BDO, etc.) of CATALYST from February 07 – 13, 2021.

If you wish to purchase a shirt to support our farmers or send monetary donations, you may visit our Facebook Page: CATALYST of UA&P for more details.

CATALYST believes that even small actions from our homes can continue to make a difference in the lives of others.
