Leonardo di Caprio and Robert de Niro Want to Be in City of Dreams Manila Movie
It’s hard to miss the newly-built City of Dreams, a large golden block structure that towers over Entertainment City, Manila’s version of the Las Vegas Strip. The golden block is a coming-together of Crown Towers, Nobu Hotel, and Hyatt Hotel, and the ultra-luxe clubs Pangaea and Chaos. The best time to see it is during the sunset, when the light bathes the area in a magnificent glow. Everybody wants in, including Leonardo di Caprio and Robert de Niro.
In an ad released by the casino resort, filmmaker Martin Scorsese (The Aviator, Shutter Island, The Wolf of Wall Street) gets Leonardo di Caprio and Robert de Niro to compete for a role in a City of Dreams Manila movie. As the two Hollywood actors exchange words about getting the role, we get a sweeping view of City of Dreams. And it is beautiful.
Does this mean Leonardo will come to the Philippines? Seeing Robert in the country is likely since he is a co-owner of the Nobu restaurant.
