On May 13, the Naga City Board of Canvassers proclaimed her winner. She defeated Toots De Quiros, Luis Ortega, and Ganda Abrazado in the mayoral race.
Her running mate, former Camarines Sur Rep. Gabriel Bordado Jr., won as vice mayor, garnering more than 45,000 votes.
Before officially entering politics, Robredo was the First Lady of Naga City while her late husband, Jesse Robredo, held the position of mayor for 19 years.
Robredo later served as the representative of Camarines Sur’s 3rd District from 2013 to 2016. She was elected vice president in 2016, becoming the second woman to hold the position. In 2022, she ran for president but lost to current President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.
