It’s been a while since we witnessed the ending of our beloved Game of Thrones. Even though it’s been gone for weeks, fans still get treated with lots of surprises about the show. Just recently, one of the cast members revealed that there was a deleted scene that could have altered the whole show.
During the German Comic Con, Lena Headey (A.K.A. Cersei) talked about a deleted scene that was supposed to make it to season 7. “We shot a scene that never made it into Season 7, which was where I lose the baby. It was a really kind of traumatic, great moment for Cersei that never made it in,” the actress said.
This bit of information answered one puzzling question about whether she was really pregnant or just pretending.
Some fans assumed that Cersei was only faking her pregnancy because of the prophecy she received when she was young. The prophecy was that she will carry three children and having another baby in the way will contradict that prophecy.
“I kind of loved doing that because I thought it would’ve served her differently,” explained Lena. This news made us wonder what it would have been for Cersei had it not been deleted.
