Game of Thrones actress Lena Headey responded to Louis C.K.’s apology, and boy, was she not impressed by it.
Actor and comedian Louis C.K. recently issued an apology statement that was run by the New York Times, in light of five women coming forward and publicly accusing C.K. of sexual misconduct.
In C.K.’s statement, he admitted that the allegations were true and said that he was “remorseful”. He also made several references as to how much he was “admired” by these women and implied that it was this “admiration” for him that compelled these women to keep quiet. There was one operative word, however, that was missing for this to effectively be considered an apology — “sorry”.
C.K.’s apology attracted criticism, and Lena Headey was one of those that didn’t mince words.
Louis CK. The words you wrote are a shitshow of narcissistic cock soup.

He didnโt apologize. FULL STOP. He wrote some stuff that he thought would make people still think heโs funny. He ainโt. https://t.co/ZBOcdTK86I

While we couldn’t exactly applaud the Queen of Westeros for her humanitarian causes, in real life, Lena Headey shares some traits with her onscreen character, Cersei Lannister — she’s strong and unafraid to tell it like it is.
