1.  They’re redefining what a speakeasy is.

When you think of a speakeasy, you automatically think of a hidden place guarded by a secret password with the interiors either involving neon lights or no signage at all. LK wants to evolve from that concept.

“We feel like we’re a speakeasy for the newer generation. It’s not about how hidden you are; it’s about the drinks, the food, the offerings — the over-all vibe. We made the concept more playful. It’s that type of branding which makes us speakeasy,” both Bea and Marco claim.
