Lady Gaga loved working with BLACKPINK, says she’s glad to be their “fifth member”

In the world of music, Lady Gaga has always wowed and stunned audiences and listeners alike. Whether it’s her avant-garde aesthetic, catchy songs, or powerful lyrics, she changed the game as soon as she entered the scene. Whether or not you enjoy her music, she’s definitely a conversation-starter.

With the recent success of “Rain on Me” (her collaboration with another pop superstar Ariana Grande), people have been clamoring for more Gaga collabs, praising how she works with other artists and can almost always craft a bop. Now is no different. Today, Lady Gaga and BLACKPINK (a popular South Korean girl group) released “Sour Candy” and k-pop stans and Lady Gaga stans are all going nuts.

In an interview with TVGroove, she talks about how excited she was to collaborate with the girl group.

“I had a great time together making this song. I was excited to hear them interpret the song in Korean and told them that the part was so creative and fun… I was amazed to hear their singing voice. They really are beautiful young women, they’re talented, and I am proud to be the fifth member of BLACKPINK in this song,” she said.
