Lady Gaga Has a Documentary and the Trailer Looks Explosive!

Lady Gaga Five Foot Two

Lady Gaga has established herself as one of pop’s greatest singers and we’ll get to see a new side to her as Netflix will release Gaga: Five Foot Two, a documentary exploring the singer’s private life in the Joanne era.

Netflix already released the trailer and you can watch it below. Warning, it’s explosive!

Based on the trailer, the documentary will shuttle between Gaga’s public and private life, from her interacting with fans, shopping at a record store, and preparing for her massive Super Bowl halftime performance. It also has more intimate moments like getting a tattoo, hanging out with Florence and the Machine’s Florence Welsh, Mark Ronson, and Donatella Versace, as well as going to the doctor.

Lady Gaga is a pop superstar who recently released her latest album Joanne, named after her aunt who passed away due to lupus 12 years before Gaga was born. According to Gaga, she had a strong connection to her Aunt Joanne, saying, “It’s everything about Joanne … it’s all the toughness of the pain of losing her that made us all strong and made us who we are. She is the woman of my past who is becoming and helping me bring more of my honest woman self into the future.”

The album has the singles “A-Yo,” “John Wayne,” “Illusion,” and “Million Reasons.”

Gaga: Five Foot Two will premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival before making its debut on Netflix on September 22.
