The 2022 elections is coming and more and more personalities are announcing their interest in running.
In an interview with CNN Philippines’ The Source, Senator Sotto had revealed their election plans. He also shared that they will be officially announcing their tandem on August 4, 2021. The filing for candidacy is on October 2021.
“You can already read between the lines that the answer is yes”, he said. The tandem of Senate President Tito Sotto will be running for Vice-president while Senator Panfilo Lacson as President has been the talk of the town since May.
“Let me sum it up in three words based on what we can offer: kakayahan, katapatan, katapangan (capability, honesty, bravery),” Sotto answered when asked about what keeps them apart from the other candidates. He also shared that the two of them has a combined experience of 83 years.
“I doubt if you will find any tandem, that will have served the government for 83 years,” Sotto added.
