Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila is demonstrated in the hospitality industry as one of the sophisticated luxury hotels in Manila. Their signature elegance and impeccable customer service became the standard amongst hotels and restaurants in the industry.
Having said that, their signature party, La Nuit (la-nyu-wee), which means night, proudly presented to invited guests and partners, how it’s done in the Philippines.
La Nuit is a traditional soiree party initiated by Sofitel across Sofitel branches worldwide. In the Philippines, Sofitel showcased gastronomy, fashion, and music.
Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila General Manager, Adam Laker, was pleased to see everyone dressed up to unveil the glamorous soiree launching of Sofitel’s latest signature event concept, La Nuit, last May 24, 2016.

Fashion – Ryan Madamba
I must admit when I saw Ryan’s newest collection in a rich interplay of design and color echoing nightfall, I literally fell in love with the design. The colors he picked were my favorites, too: gray, black, white, baby pink, and purple.
This was my favorite of them all – it’s contemporary yet elegant! I love the color. I love how it’s executed to be a sophisticated collection! The design is perfect for all occasions!
Ryan Madamba’s collection gave me the chills. I was emotional as he presented his collection through these wonderful models. I could sense his passion in every detail. It showed in his designs the power of simplicity, which is a core feature of a true Filipino: simple yet powerful.
Music – Freestyle Band and DJ Callum
The night wouldn’t be complete without great music. Since Sofitel Philippine Plaza showcased the Filipino culture, they had one of the best Filipino bands of all time, Freestyle to perform during the black and white party.
They performed some of the greatest songs of the 90’s! Everyone felt nostalgic! The crowd started singing along, too! Freestyle band hit the mainstream in 1998. The band is famous for their songs “Before I Let You Go”, “So Slow” and “Bakit Ngayon Ka Lang?”
After their massive performance, DJ Callum David brought everyone to the dance floor!
Amazingly phenomenal event by Sofitel.
La Nuit was indeed a magnificent event! The food, music, intertwined and brought everyone together to enjoy the vibrant night!
