Kylie sure doesn’t stay idle! Fresh from crowning her successor in Tokyo, 2016 Miss International Kylie Verzosa just confirmed that she will be starring alongside Coco Martin in the movie “Ang Panday”, an entry to this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival, according to an article from Push.
Aside from starring in the original FPJ classic, “Ang Panday” is also Coco Martin’s directorial debut. Kylie praised Coco’s dedication to the project, both as an actor and director.
“Coco is amazing. He knows what he wanted right away. It is difficult to transform from actor to director. He really is great.”
Although no details have been released yet regarding Kylie’s role in the movie, she is reported to be one of Coco’s leading ladies in the film.
Another Miss International alum is also set to join the cast, as it was earlier reported that Mariel de Leon will be playing the female lead in the movie.
