If She Could Talk to Her Younger Self, This Is What Kylie Padilla Would Say

Amid all the controversies she’s found herself in lately, Kylie Padilla wouldn’t trade this life for anything else, knowing that it’s her experiences, both good and bad, that make her the strong woman she is now.

Realizing this, the actress and mom of two took to her Instagram account to write a letter addressed to her younger self seemingly as a way to reassure herself that she should have no regrets about the way her life turned out to be.

In the caption of her post, which showed her looking and smiling at herself as a child, Kylie said: “I’d tell her she’s on the right path but I’d also tell her not to make herself an enemy and to not be afraid of being alone. But [besides] that I’d tell her she’s doing great.”

She then challenged her friends and followers, “What would you tell your younger self?”

In an earlier post, Kylie also shared a snippet of her interview with FAIR Magazine wherein she opened up about being empowered as a woman to make her voice heard.

She quoted herself saying, “I want women to cherish the growth of their minds, their souls and their spirit—the value of their essence. So much focus is put on our looks when our real value should really be focused on our values and inner strength. There is no shame in being beautiful, it’s a great way to get attention and have your voice be heard but you also need to have something to say that is worth hearing.”

Kylie has been making headlines ever since her father, Robin Padilla, revealed to the public her breakup with husband Aljur Abrenica which was allegedly due to a third party. Aljur has been criticized since then for being spotted on dates with young actress AJ Raval. He then recently issued a statement accusing Kylie of cheating first in their relationship which the latter denied.

The two married in 2018 and share two sons, Axl Romeo and Alas Joaquin.
