Following her breakup with former husband Aljur Abrenica, Kylie Padilla has revealed that she has already opened herself up to dating again!
In an interview with GMA news reporter Nelson Canlas in his podcast titled “Updated with Nelson Canlas,” Kylie was asked about her current relationship status.
“You said before [na] ready kang ma-in love. The exact words that you said are, ‘Ang sarap kaya ma-in-love.’ How was it so far sa ‘yo? Are you dating?” he asked.
Kylie then answered with a smile on her face: “Yes, I am dating.”

However, she did admit that she doesn’t want to get married again anytime soon.
She also looked back at her marriage with Aljur, and reiterated that one of the big factors that led to their relationship failing was the growing “distance” that she felt had formed between them when they were still together.
“Ramdam ko na na there was a distance forming between us. Parang alam ko nang nagpupunta na doon and it came to a factor na I should be alone because I had been alone even if I had a partner and ang sakit na,” she told Nelson. “Syempre as a mom, ayaw mo namang mangyari ‘yon but sometimes, maybe you need to do that to find your inner strength and magkaroon kami ng respeto outside of being a married couple.”
Despite all that happened then, Kylie affirmed that she and Aljur have already patched things up and are in good terms once again.
“We’re friends, we’re good na. Surprisingly, um-OK na in a year. Good things take time,” she shared.
Rumors that Kylie and Aljur were already separated were confirmed by Kylie’s father, Robin Padilla, in July 2021 who revealed that it was because of a third party. Aljur subsequently made a controversial post on Facebook insinuating that Kylie had also cheated on him.
Aljur is currently being linked to young actress AJ Raval.
