Kris Bernal has been open about her pregnancy and motherhood journey, and this time, she shared her challenging yet wonderful birth experience with her daughter, Hailee Lucca.
On Instagram, she posted a video compilation of herself at the hospital, from having an ultrasound to giving birth, which she described as the “most painful” 48 hours of her life yet the “most beautiful experience.”

“It was such a traumatic and long birth. I’ll never forget. I really thought it was my end. So intense! Birth is incredible and powerful, the body is mind blowing, and life is truly a gift. These are the moments of sacrifice and vulnerability and everything that goes into birthing!” she wrote.
As she had already experienced giving birth, Bernal said she became more amazed by her mother’s sacrifices and praised all the mothers who also went through the pain of giving birth.

She also thanked her ob-gyne, doctors, nurses, the staff, and her husband, Perry Choi, who took care of her.
“@haileelucca is so precious that it makes my heart ache. My heart is overflowing. And, yes, I am still recovering. Haven’t really been on my phone lately, and it feels so liberating to be fully present in the present. We’ve just been soaking it all in these past weeks,” she concluded.
In a separate post, the celebrity mom shared an adorable clip of Hailee Lucca as she marked her first month!
“Celebrating a month of pure newborn bliss while soaking in every second of it; filling our lives and hearts w/ so much love and purpose! Love stronger. Days shorter. Nights longer. Home happier!” she captioned.

She also mentioned the mix of excitement and exhaustion as a first-time mom, “It’s quite challenging as me and @haileelucca are both doing things we’ve never done before. Inhaling the happy, exhaling the hard! I wouldn’t change it for the world!”
Bernal and Choi welcomed Hailee Lucca in August.
