Kris Bernal once again got candid about the struggles of being a mother as she looked back on her journey in dealing with body image during pregnancy.
In an Instagram post, the celebrity mom talked about how she learned to accept her body by posting throwback clips of her prenatal Pilates workout routines.
“I still look back on bump photos and videos completely in awe of what a woman’s body can do! I was at my heaviest weight ever and I’ll be honest that there were moments during my pregnancy that I struggled w/ body image!” she shared.

The first-time mom, who has been vocal about her pregnancy and motherhood journey, also left an empowering message for soon-to-be moms who might be struggling with body image. Here’s her lovely message:
“To those soon-to-be moms struggling to love their body during this season, tell yourself: ‘My body is meant to be LIVED THROUGH, not looked at’. LIFE is happening through you in a such a profound way! You’re growing a LIFE! Live through that miraculous, ever-changing body of yours! And, don’t worry, you can always bounce back!”
