Jo Kwon will play the role of Jamie alongside NU’EST’s Ren, ASTRO’s MJ, and Shin Joo-Hyup. Since different people will play the titular character, each one will bring something different to the table. Jo Kwon, for instance, has established himself as an all-around entertainer and will show this as Jamie. On the other hand, Shin Joo Hyup is a rising star backed with prior experience in musicals.

Ren plans on building anticipation among fans as he shows different sides of himself in his first-ever musical. Meanwhile, MJ— a diverse artist and the main vocalist of ASTRO— will use this opportunity to add musical theater actor in his roster of talents.

Other musical actors and actresses who will join the musical include Kim Sun-Young and Choi Jung-Won, one of Korea’s “first-generation” musical actresses, who will play Jamie’s supportive mother Margaret. In addition, Veteran actor Yoon Hee Seok will play Jamie’s mentor Hugo, while musical actor Choi Ho-Joong has also been cast.

“Everybody’s Talking About Jamie” will premiere on July 7 at the LG Arts Center. Tickets will go on sale starting May 14.
