Kitchen Diaries: Creating Cakes Out of Your Favorite Treats

Banana Nutella Waffle with Ice Cream (P190)

This waffle is equally rewarding. If you haven’t tried dipping bananas in a Nutella jar, I suggest you do. Conversely, you can have a platter of this sweet creation — banana slices with whipped cream and Nutella on top of a not-so-sweet waffle fix that perfectly balances out the flavors.

Snow White’s Sin (P160)

I am not a fan of cinnamon, but my friends loved this staple. Topped with a hefty scoop of ice cream and Reese’s chunks, this apple pie screams of richness and flavor.

Sookie (P99)

Now you might wonder what a Sookie is. Anj, who wants to be innovative in the kitchen, created these statement cookies she branded as ‘sookies’. A junior sookie cup comes with a scoop of homemade ice cream, which is to die for. This is one cold treatment you will never get tired of having.

Frozen KiD (P120)

If you’re visiting Kitchen Diaries, don’t forget to try their luscious drinks, either. Have a sip of Cafe Nutella, which is a great fix if you love it in a jar. You may also opt for the less sweet one — the Cappuccino, which also comes in Red Velvet. If you want to try something new, my friends and I recommend the Milo Bomb, which is an easy favorite. And of course, there is the Frozen KiD — Kitchen Diaries’ unique take on deconstructed coffee.

Customized Sookies

These sookies will make for great Christmas gifts for your loved ones, friends and colleagues. Kitchen Diaries also customizes sookie for parties. You just need to keep in touch with them. You may order large sookies for P40 each or the smaller ones priced at P30 each.

There is no doubt that Kapitolyo is a great place for food adventures. If you happen to go out to explore the food joints in the area, it wouldn’t hurt to drop by Kitchen Diaries and try what they have to offer.

Insider tip: take great photos because the food and this intimate space is Instagrammable, too.
