It turns out that Harington started going to therapy after finding out what would happen to his character and the show. In the documentary The Last Watch, which detailed the behind-the-scenes happenings of producing the final season of Game of Thrones, he was visibly distraught when he finds out that his character kills Daenerys Targaryen, played by Emilia Clarke.

He also revealed to Variety that his darkest period was when his character died and came back to life. According to him, “I really didn’t like the focus of the whole show coming onto Jon. When you become the cliffhanger of a TV show, and a TV show probably at the height of its power, the focus on you is [expletive] terrifying.”

Get well soon, Kit!
