On March 26, Kim posted a series of photos with Josh, who was dubbed as the “Golden Retriever” boy in the viral online dating show “Pusuan or Laruan.”

“If you know you know. You are good the way you are Josh,” he added.
In another Instagram reel, Josh and the TV host were seen doing the viral “microphone holding” pose. It is one of the moments that made the network engineer go viral on social media.

“Josh binigyan ng bagong knowledge is Kuya Kim Atienza para weather weather lang (Josh was given new knowledge by Kuya Kim Atienza because it’s ‘weather-weather lang’),” the post reads.
Josh is one of the participants in Marion Aunor’s “Pusuan or Laruan” who made rounds on social media after calling himself a “Golden Retriever” boy who is looking for a “Golden Retriever” gal.
With the hate that he received online, he spoke out about his appearance on the show in a Reddit post and addressed some issues about himself. He revealed that he was “laying low” since late 2024 after being doxxed and receiving hateful comments.
He also talked about the way he held his microphone, which was made fun of online: “I want to fidget so bad pero ayaw ko gumaslaw (I don’t want to move much) like big movements… So ano pwede ko paglaruan (So what can I play with)? Yung mic, which I find it dumb na rin when I look at it.”
Despite what happened, he reassured social media users that he has been prioritizing his work and his family.
“So as weeks go by, nagpapakabusy lang ako sa work and sa fam because sila lang naman mahalaga sakin. Huwag lang madamay yung mga hindi dapat (I’m just keeping myself busy with work and family because they’re the only ones that truly matter to me. As long as those who shouldn’t be involved stay out of it), it’s all good,” he shared.
