Rough translation: A lot of kids today complain and feel lazy to wake up in the morning to go to school. There’s this student here in Marikina that hurries after school to ride his bicycle to sell the products that his family makes. We want to share this so that many other students will be inspired to not waste the money that their parents pay for their tuition fees.
Netizen Elma Bantog comments that she knows this student who is from her neighborhood.
Saying that she has known him to sell kakanin and sometimes bread and corn on the streets since he was young. She says that the student is doing this to help his parents.
Many netizens have sent in their positive messages and words of encouragement for the boy.
Please send in your own and we wish that he will also set an example for other students as well.
