Over the summer holiday, about a hundred kids, aptly called Kiddo-preneurs, set up shops at the Glorietta Activity Center and blazed the entrepreneurial trail – most of them for the very first time!
The kids of varying ages sold a broad range of homegrown products like slime, soaps, aquariums and terrariums, food and drinks, crafts, artwork, bags, squishies, bracelets, and other kid-friendly items to a large family crowd composed of relatives, friends, and curious mall-goers who were all eager to show their support for the courageous and enterprising youngsters.
Through Kiddo-preneur, these kids all got the opportunity to learn and earn some money at the same time.
Awards and prizes were given out to the following children for excelling in a specific area that day:
Best Booth Design: Tsitsirya (Elle Ocfemia, Rafael Magdayao, and AleinaManalang)
Best Service: Friendly Business (Timothy Tan)
Best Concept: Aqua & Terra (Chelsea Porticos and CharlynTaruc)
Best Sales: Kit Central (Gabrielle Lim, Danielle Santiago, Beatriz Follosco, and Bianca Barretto – P75,000)
