Khloe Kardashian Finally Reacts to Jameela Jamil Calling Her Out on Weight Shaming

In case you’ve missed it, The Good Place star Jameela Jamil called out Khloe Kardashian on Instagram for promoting Flat Tummy Co.’s meal replacement shakes.

Jameela called her “irresponsible” for promoting the weight loss product without explaining the possible side-effects of “this NON-FDA approved product that most doctors are saying isn’t healthy.”

“It’s incredibly awful that this industry bullied you until you became this fixated on your appearance,” she wrote in the comments. “That’s the media’s fault. But now please don’t put that back into the world and hurt other girls the way you have been hurt. You’re a smart woman. Be smarter than this.”

Khloe only managed to respond to the criticism two weeks after by deleting the controversial post.

This did not go unnoticed by Jameela, who tweeted a screenshot of Khloe’s feed. “There is hope after all…” she said.

This isn’t the first time Jameela called out a Kardashian for pushing weight loss products. In 2018, she also criticized Kim Kardashian for posting an Instagram ad for Flat Tummy Appetite Suppressant Lollipops. She called Kim a “terrible and toxic influence on young girls.”

Jameela has consistently used her social media as platforms to help normalize big bodies and improve everyone’s body image. She is the pioneer of the “I Weigh” body positivity project that launched in February 2018 which features posts encouraging people to measure their value on who they are and not by how they weigh.
