The Olivia M. Lamasan-directed “Barcelona: A Love Untold”, top billed by Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla, has been selected as one of four Filipino films to be showcased at the 21st Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival in South Korea this July!

“Barcelona” is one of three local mainstream films that will be part of the “Best of Asia” program. Other flicks to be presented include Joyce Bernal’s “Super Parental Guardians”, and Maryo J. Delos Reyes’ “The Unmarried Wife”.

Leading the Philippine selections is “Birdshot” by Mikhail Red, which will be part of the World Fantastic Red section. According to the BiFan film festival website, the “World Fantastic Cinema” section displays a “panorama of fantastic films around the world”, separated into Red and Blue categories. The “World Fantastic Red” section is  “for those who love blood-spattering action, creepy horror and heart-pumping thrillers.”
