K-Pop Star Hyolyn to Visit Manila!

K-pop fans, we have great news for you: K-pop sensation Hyolyn will be visiting Manila this June for the Philippine Toys, Hobbies, and Collectibles Festival (TOYCON)!

According to TOYCON’s Facebook page, Hyolyn will be having a live performance at the festival on June 9, 2018. No details have been announced on the time of her performance, but the page promised to release more news on Monday.

Hyolyn rose to fame in 2010 as part of the South Korean girl group Sistar, which debuted on KBS’ Music Bank, where they performed their single “Push Push.” The following year, she and her co-member Bora formed the sub-group Sistar19, which also met success with their hits “Ma Boy,” “Ma Boy 2,” and “Gone Not Around Any Longer.”

She made her solo debut in 2013 with her album Love & Hate, which had the singles “Lonely” and “One Way Love.”

Apart from her singing career, Hyolyn also made waves in filmmaking, where she starred in Dream High. She also sang in the original soundtracks for films and TV shows like Dream High, Master’s Sun, My Love From the Star, and more.

TOYCON will be held from June 8 to 10 at the SMX Convention Center at the SM Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City.
