Justin Timberlake Can Now Call Himself a Doctor!

Justin Timberlake is now a doctor — of music, that is! The 38-year-old singer just celebrated a huge accomplishment over the weekend, receiving an honorary doctorate degree in the Berklee College of Music in Boston.

“No dream is too big!!! Keep chasing!!! Trust me… I’m a DOCTOR!!” Timberlake captioned in a photo of himself showing his diploma.

“THANK YOU to [Berklee College] for this incredible honor—I’m very humbled and grateful,” he added.

His wife, Jessica Biel, couldn’t help but gush over his photo in the comments. “Literally every hat looks good on you, but this is my favorite one,” she said.

Other celebrities also left congratulatory messages, including Josh Brolin, Lily Collins, and Reese Witherspoon.

Dwayne Johnson even cracked a joke, “Congrats my friend. So technically, you can now examine a new “rash” I’ve developed.”

Timberlake was one among the three musicians (including singers Missy Elliot and Alex Laccamoire) given honorary doctorates in music degrees by Berklee College, recognized for his influence on pop music and multiple awards.

“You’re defined by what you define failure as. It’s not a thing if it leads you to your success. It’s all part of the journey,” he said in his acceptance speech. “I hope that in the years to come, two things will happen: One, I will represent you in the way that you most hope for. And two, I look around and see this graduating class. Meet me at the studio. I want to see y’all!”
