Stay calm, Jelena fans: Although long-time on-and-off couple Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez have reportedly been seeing each other almost every day, it looks like Selena’s family is still warming up to the pair’s reunion as the two are missing out on a special holiday together: Christmas!
Sources close to Justin and Selena say that the two are not officially back together yet, but they’re “getting close”. Since news of Justin and Selena’s reported reunion have made headlines, the two have been practically inseparable, but as PEOPLE reports, while Justin’s family has always liked Selena, Selena’s family is still not happy with her getting back together with Justin.
The two have missed out on celebrating Thanksgiving together after Selena felt that it was too soon to bring Justin back home, and now, they’re celebrating the yuletide season apart as well.
According to a source close to Selena:
“Selena doesn’t bring Justin to any family events. Selena is spending Christmas with her family. As of now, Justin is not invited.”
Meanwhile, Justin is apparently set on really turning his whole act around and proving that he’s a better partner this time.
