Just when you thought food can’t get weirder, ramen pizza exists!

I have ramen, I have a pizza… Ramen Pizza!

Food combinations can be both innovative and weird, but they might just work.

In Taiwan, Pizza Hut is teaming up with Ramen Musashi, a popular ramen joint, to release a meal that integrates ramen and pizza.

The new food combo will include the important elements Ramen Musashi’s best-seller and put them on top of a pizza crust. Its popular ramen is composed of noodles, cha shu (barbecue pork), bamboo shoots, soft-boiled egg, scallion, and white sesame.

So, instead of the ramen being served on a bowl, it will lie on top of a crust.

The ramen pizza will be available starting June 30,  but pre-orders have already started online since June 23.

The innovative dish is priced at 459 TWD (P778) for solo order. The combo meal is priced at 1,059 TWD (P1795).

This isn’t the first time a strange pizza was born in Taiwan, let alone in Pizza Hut. In 2019, the pizza chain released one that is topped with boba to probably ride on the milk tea frenzy.

Domino’s also released a boba pizza and people didn’t really hate it.
