Junior Chamber International Manila’s SHARE A SMILE 2015

The Junior Chamber International (JCI) Manila in partnership with the Manila Dental Chapter, DIO Dentists, National Association of Dental Prosthetic Laboratories Inc., Generics Pharmacy, Islandwide Corp., Swiss Gourmet, Pepsi and Hapee Toothpaste conducted a dental mission entitled “Share a Smile” on April 17, 2015 at GK Center, Paradise Heights, Smokey Mountain. 

The Share a Smile project is a continuation of the annual JCI Week’s “Care to Share” initiative.  The dental mission aimed to provide quality dental health care to under-privileged and impoverished individuals and families. 

Services offered were Fluoride and Cleaning for Children, Tooth Extractions, and Dentures.

Free medicine and antibiotics were also provided for the participants after undergoing their respective procedures.

300 lootbags were given away to all the participants after undergoing their procedures and Oral Health orientation.  Each lootbag contained a Toothbrush, Toothpaste and Dental Floss sponsored by Lamoiyan Corp.(Hapee Toothpaste) and Systema Tooth & Gumcare.

More than 300 beneficiaries were given free check-ups, proper oral health orientation, tooth extractions and dentures through the assistance of volunteer dentists from Manila Dental Chapter, DIO Dentists and University Of The East.
