Julie Anne San Jose is one of the most amazing singers we have, and it’s because of talent and perseverance. She was so determined to become a star that she joined the Little Miss Philippines pageant in 1998. Her talent? To sing Whitney Houston’s “I Wanna Dance With Somebody (Who Loves Me).”

San Jose rose to fame in 2010 when she joined Party Pilipinas as a solo artist. She later starred in TV shows, movies, and her own concerts. Her debut album Julie Anne San Jose received the Diamond Record Award from the Philippine Association of the Record Industry, while her second effort Deeper was given a Triple Platinum Award.
