Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants De La Salle University – Dasmarinas (JPIA DLSU-D), the premiere organization for BS Accountancy students of De La Salle University Dasmariñas, is proud and delighted to present to you this year’s “Towards Brighter Horizons: Accounting Conference 2016!” The event will be held on October 16, 2016, at the Provincial Gymnasium, Trece Martires, Cavite.
In partnership with Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA – Cavite), Cavite Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (CaJPIA), DLSU-D Accounting Enrichment Society (AcES), JPIA DLSU-D is organizing a conference that features the changes in the CPA Board Exams, integrated reporting, and CPA success stories. This conference is a great avenue for accounting students to explore more about the realities of the business world. It aims to change the outlook of students in life as future accounting professionals. Over 1,500 students from different universities in National Capital Region and Region IV- CALABARZON are invited to the event.
The speakers of the aforementioned event include Ms. Mary May C. Eulogio, CPA, MBA, the Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administrative Services of De La Salle University- Dasmariñas who will discuss integrated reporting in the Accounting Industry and Mr. Dominador A. Barrion, CPA, who will share some CPA success stories to inspire the audience.
In line with the CPA Board Exam changes, JPIA DLSU-D also invited the Vice Chairman of the Board of Accountancy (BOA), Dr. Gloria J. Tolentino- Baysa. She will discuss in full details the recent updates implemented by the Board of Accountancy.
