Remember British soul singer Joss Stone, the curly-haired teen blonde who sang “You Had Me” ? She had almost been the target of a robbery and murder plot yesterday! Two unnamed men were arrested near Stone’s home in Cullompton, England. Suspicions grew when the police found out that the men were carrying swords, rope, and a body bag, and aerial photos of Stone’s property.
It all started when residents informed police officers about a suspicious-looking vehicle parked outside the singer’s home. Officers went to the area at around 10 am and found the two men who used the said vehicle.
Stone’s publicists did not confirm whether the singer was at home on the day of the incident. Nevertheless, Joss Stone is aware of the arrest and said that she’s “getting on with life as normal” and doing “absolutely fine.”
London’s Sunday Times reported that Joss Stone’s net worth is about $14.6 million.
