In an interview with Bianca Gonzalez-Intal, Joshua Garcia revealed that he has read some of the thirst comments on him on social media! The Cinema News host jumped right in on the topic by bringing up how Garcia’s topless scene on “Darna” quickly went viral online. She mentioned that Garcia had already talked about being of age, and how the scene was well-executed and seemed fit in previous interviews, but Bianca had to ask if it was the ONLY topless scene of the lead actor.
Apparently, MORE Joshua Garcia topless ‘Darna’ scenes are coming! Upon reading the script, Garcia recalled that there was one after the other. In fact, they kept on coming to the point that he had to request to cut them down. “So, may mga scenes na pasuot lang ako ng damit– ‘yong mga gano’n,” he explained.
In line with this, Bianca segued to Joshua being labeled as a “thirst trap”. She asked him directly, “how do you feel ‘pag nakakabasa ka ng gano’n?”
“Nagpapasalamat na lang talaga ako kasi way nila ‘yon para suportahan ako, kaya thank you, thank you! Sana hindi kayo magsawa sa’kin, sa mga pahubad ko sa ‘Darna’,” the actor responded.
