SilidAralan, Inc. is a non-profit organization in the Philippines that aims to help underprivileged students discover their passion and realize their full potential. We have an exceptional vision by focusing on low-performing students from public schools because we believe that they are as important as students who excel in class. Thus, are deserving of equal attention. Moreover, it is our goal that each of our learner will be confident enough to believe in their own capabilities as future leaders of the society.One of our visions for the organization is for it to make more impact to learners outside Rodriguez, Rizal. Thus, we plan to expand our service to other municipalities and regions by next year, 2017 so that children in various communities get the chance to grow as competitive and responsible global citizens.
For us to fulfill this vision, we are having a fundraising event this coming January 15, 2017 called KaRUNungan: Fun Run for SilidAralan to be held in Marikina Sports Center, Marikina City which aims to gather 150 or more runners coming from different sectors of the society as well as stakeholders of education.
What’s fun about this? This is no ordinary run! J You may refer to the mechanics of this amazing fun run attached to this letter to choose a category that would best fit your interest.
We would truly appreciate the contribution you will give to this event as we believe that this will be significant key in opening new SilidAralan learning hubs so that more learners will be facilitated and guided in discovering more about themselves especially their passion and life potentials as well as learn how to live the core values and competencies that SilidAralan, Inc. honors. More than life-long learnings, we hope to develop their sensitivity to social issues and be able to innovate their learnings leading to the developments and changes for a better community.

- We will deliver your KaRUNungan Sheet immediately and your singlet as well as your race bib before the event. The KaRUNungan Sheet will serve as your guide throughout the event because it contains basically all the details of the Fun Run.
- #ShareYourRun with your family, colleagues, and friends! J The KaRUNungan Sheet has 50 boxes where you will put the names of the people you will represent in your run to empower learners in SilidAralan! These 50 people who will support you in your run will need to to give you a certain amount depending on the number of laps you have decided to complete. Please refer to the rates below:

For the coming learning Year 2017-2018, we are targeting to set up SAI in San Mateo, Rizal which will cater 100 more students. Thus, we wish to share with you kaRUNungan: Fun Run for SilidAralan so we can sprint to an empowered future for our learners.
