Is John Lloyd Cruz making his true movie comeback with director Lav Diaz?
The actor was spotted in a couple of photos with Lav Diaz and Chickoy Pura in a Facebook post by the latter hinting at a new film project.
“Jan 1, 2020, What a great way to start the year. To work again with the great director and friend Lavrente Diaz… Maraming maraming salamat sa pagkakataon. (Thank you so much for the opportunity.) Humbled and honored,” Chickoy wrote in the post.
Does this mean we will be getting a new Lav Diaz movie, and John Lloyd will be starring in it again? If it’s true, then we’ll be looking forward to it!

Lav Diaz has won several international awards and is known for having made many of the longest narrative films on record.
He has worked previously with John Lloyd in Ang Babaeng Humayo (2016) and the 8-hour epic Hele Sa Hiwagang Hapis (2016).
