Jodi Sta. Maria revealed that her marriage to Panfilo “Pampi” Lacson Jr. has been annulled after 13 years. The actress took to social media to share the news and open up about the process, describing it a “test of faith and trust.”
“Finally after 13 years of waiting, my petition for nullity of marriage has been granted by the Supreme Court,” she began her post. “It was indeed a test of faith and trust โ FAITH in God’s promises and TRUST in God’s timing.”

She admitted that the long process was “frustrating, discouraging, and heartbreaking,” which made her “cried” and “complained.” However, she noted that it was God’s grace that helped her to keep going.
The “Unbreak My Heart” actress still remained optimistic and emphasized that the long wait had a purpose.
“God is never in a hurry. He is never too late. Never too early. Believe He is able to do something about your situation. Trust He has a plan for you and that plan is even better than the one you have for yourself,” she added.

Jodi expressed heartfelt gratitude to her lawyer and everyone who supported her and prayed for her.
“Now I can finally sayโฆCASE CLOSED,” she concluded her post.
As of writing, Pampi has yet to address the annulment. On the other hand, his current partner, Iwa Moto, showed support for the case’s development. She replied in the comments section, “Letโs celebrate ๐ฅฐ love you amor!”

Jodi and Pampi tied the knot in 2005, then split in 2011. They have a son named Thirdy. Meanwhile, Iwa and Pampi have been in a relationship since 2012. They shared two children, Hiromi Eve and Caleb Jiro.
