SBS weekend drama ‘Backstreet Rookie’ is based on a hit webtoon that tells of the love story of a convenience store owner and a part-time employee (played by Ji Chang-wook and Jung Saet-byul, respectively), and they have revealed a sneak peek of Ji Chang-wook in character:
We love how he still looks great despite his disheveled hair and tired demeanor. The production team has commented that Ji Chang-wook’s transformation will invite viewers into the world of convenience stores.
‘Backstreet Rookie’ is set to premiere on June 12, 2020 after ‘The King: Eternal Monarch‘s conclusion.
