Janine Tugonon has given birth to her first child! The Miss Universe Philippines 2012 shared the wonderful news on November 7, two weeks after welcoming her baby girl.

She posted snaps of her newborn, herself, and her partner and revealed the name of their new bundle of joy, Madeleine Sophia. The beauty queen also expressed gratitude for having a positive birth experience and a smooth recovery from her cesarean section.
“Bonjour Madeleine Sophia. Thank you, Lord for a healthy baby, positive birth experience, and so far a great CS recovery. You Lord always got my back and Your grace is sufficient,” she captioned.

“Also happy two weeks today!! Time to start reading books to you. (Thinking between taxation, accounting, AI, coding, and IT? – haha char lang, pero someday yan talaga sana [Just kidding, but hopefully someday])” she quipped.
In June, Janine announced her pregnancy. After winning first runner-up in Miss Universe in 2012, she pursued modeling in the United States, which paved the way for her to appear in Victoria’s Secret ad and become an NU Muse.
