Janine Gutierrez looked stunning as she graced the red carpet of the prestigious Venice Film Festival in Italy for the first time.
Her film “Phantosmia,” directed by Lav Diaz, recently premiered in the La Biennale di Venezia under the Out-of-Competition – Fiction category. The actress proudly shared moments from the event, emphasizing that it was a dream come true for her.

Janine donned an elegant black sheer long-sleeved gown by Inna Sotto during the photocall. She then switched to a gorgeous custom blue gown with a deep neckline by Vania Romoff for the red carpet.

“Phantosmia” tells the story of a former military official who suffers from a recurring mysterious olfactory problem, which is believed to be a phantom smell caused by post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
Aside from Janine, the film also stars Ronnie Lazaro, Hazel Orencio, Paul Jake Paule, Dong Abay, Arjay Babon, among others. The 81st Venice Film Festival will run until September 7, 2024.
