Janella Salvador mourned the death of her pet cat, Fluffy, who had been her companion for 18 years. On Instagram, she penned a heartwarming letter to her beloved pet.
“Pets deserve to live longer lives. But 18 years is somethingโฆ so thank you for choosing us to spend your precious life with,” she wrote.
The actress shared photos of her cradling Fluffy, dated 2007, as she recalled how happy she was when she got her “dream white fluffy Persian cat.”

She added, “I was always so excited to show you off to visitors and you gladly welcomed them every single time. In fact, you loved the attention. You would come up to us, sit right beside us, reach out for us with a paw and stare for hours until someone would finally give in and snuggle with you.”
There was also a photo of Fluffy with her late cat Twinkie sitting together beside the window. Then the last photo showed Janella bidding farewell to Fluffy at the funeral.
“You were the yin to Twinkieโs yangโฆ whom youโre now reunited with in paradise. Run free and save some spots for us up there, my Fluffywuffwuff. We will miss you forever,” she concluded.
In the comments section, her fellow celebrities Sue Ramirez, Maymay Entrata, Ella Cruz, and Jane de Leon sent their condolences.

In January, Janella lost another pet cat of 17 years, Twinkie. Meanwhile, in July 2022, she mourned the passing of her pet dog, Max.
