Sadly, Janella Salvador lost another furry friend.
The “Darna” villain shared an emotional post on her social media after her pet cat named Twinkie passed away. “The hardest part about loving animals is knowing that you’re bound to outlive them,” she captioned the throwback photo of her embracing her cat. She continued, “That’s 7-year-old me in February ‘06, proud and ecstatic to be holding my advanced 8th birthday gift from my mama.”
Then, Salvador reminisced how she felt the moment she saw the cat. “I found him at a pet shop in Pasay and fell in love so fast that I didn’t want to leave him behind and wait for my birthday,” she said.
According to her, Twinkie was “the perfect cuddly gentle cat anyone could ever dream of.”
“Thank you for sharing 17 years of your life with us, Twinkie. You have a spot in my heart forever,” she concluded.

Kakai Bautista, Rex Atienza, and her “Darna” co-star Iza Calzad expressed their sympathy in the comments, saying they are sorry for Janella’s loss. Meanwhile, Arci Muñoz, Alora Sasam, and Joj Agpangan gave some virtual hugs.
We recall that the actress/singer also lost her pet dog Max in July last year.
Janella Salvador currently plays Valentina in the 2023 remake of Mars Ravelo’s Darna TV series on ABS-CBN.
