It’s official: Jake Cuenca and Kylie Verzosa have called it quits.
The 34-year-old actor took to Instagram to confirm the rumors of their breakup through an open letter to Kylie, which he began by saying “This was us” as he shared a photo of a figurine made of him, Kylie, and their dogs.
“I’ll hold on to all our precious memories together with so much value. This past 3 years of my life have certainly been the best,” he then said before revealing their split.

“I say this with such a heavy heart but me and Kylie have decided to go our separate ways. I’m still so proud of us because we didn’t want to break up in anger we both wanted to be able to look back on our relationship with no bitterness no anger and no regrets only the good memories. Certainly that’s what I will be holding on to,” he continued.
Jake went on to tell Kylie that he will always support her “as friends” as she achieves greater heights in her career.
“I will still be here to support you because In so many ways I feel part of your journey and I will always pray for your success. I’m happy we were able to finish this chapter of our lives the same way we started it. Holding hands As friends. Wherever you are or whatever your doing I will always be sending you love and positivity. Know that you will always have a person in me who will always be proud of you,” he shared.
He then ended his post with: “I’ll see you around Kylie.”
The actor then took to his Instagram Stories to share a picture of himself crying. He also shared a screenshot of the song “Let It Go” by James Bay.
Speculations that the two broke up began when Kylie tweeted the word “Broken” on April 17. She then broke down in tears on live television during an “It’s Showtime!” segment after the hosts started to talk about breakups and failed relationships.

Jake and Kylie have been together since 2019.
