Iza Calzado suffers from pneumonia, gets tested for COVID-19

Anyone is vulnerable to getting the new coronavirus 2019 disease (COVID-19). From celebrities like Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson, NBA stars like Kevin Durant and Rudy Gobert, local government officials like senators Migz Zubiri and Koko Pimentel, and even the 71-year-old Prince Charles, almost anyone can catch this new coronavirus.

Based on data obtained from those who have suffered from COVID-19, it has been said that the elderly and those who already have underlying conditions are most in danger when they catch the virus. However, everyone should still stay vigilant as there can be asymptomatic super-spreaders of the disease. In some cases, even those who are healthy can feel the adverse effects of the virus.

In line with the COVID-19 pandemic, it seemed that Iza Calzado has been missing in action on social media. On Wednesday, March 25, she posted a photo on Instagram and it can be rather concerning.

Calzado confirmed that she is in a hospital suffering from pneumonia. She also said that she has already been tested for COVID-19 and is waiting for the results.

Hello, everyone. It’s been a while but I thought I’d update you all. I’m currently hospitalized for pneumonia and so, I was tested for Covid-19 and i’ve been waiting for the results for several days now. It’s been a challenging time for me but it cannot compare to the frontliners who have cared for me and to whom I am so grateful. My heart goes out to everyone in these trying times, especially those who risk their lives every day to care for their loved ones. I am hoping you all can join me in prayer for those who are currently sick and their loved ones, for every person struggling to cope in these tough times. And most especially, for the medical workers who are doing their best despite the hurdles. I count this time as an opportunity to be kind. To be a source of love and light. With the grace of God, i can fight this and we all fight this together. ❤️
