Ivana Alawi is giving back to delivery riders in the best way she knows how: a “prank” video!
In her latest YouTube vlog, Ivana decided to put a spin on her usual pranking videos by doing something nice for a few riders who ended up delivering packages to her home. She confessed to having felt bad for them because of the stories she sometimes hears about them getting scammed by their customers and decided that this is her way of sharing her blessings.
“Palagi kasi akong umo-order ng pagkain sa mga delivery, tapos ‘di ba kahit nung pandemic, sila talaga ‘yung bumabyahe, so I think it’s time to give back,” she said on a vlog she posted on Monday, January 25.
“‘Yung reason talaga kung bakit ko ‘to ginagawa is because marami akong nakikita na scammer na mga tao na akala nila nakakatawa na pagtripan nila ang mga driver na nagpapakahirap magtrabaho,” she continued. “Maraming way na maglokohan kayo pero huwag mong pag-tripan ang isang tao na nagtatrabaho ng marangal. Kaya ako, I’ll try to help in my own small way.”
She then ordered food from several different establishments using different names in order to surprise her riders once they arrive. She then made them play a mini-game before giving them a full-face helmet and PHP 10,000 cash!
She gave them away to a total of eight riders who were all moved by her generous donation.
“I will always keep giving back to you because kayo ang nagbigay kung ano man ang meron ako ngayon dito sa YouTube. And this is my small way of saying thank you,” she added.
