After an initial dismal run, local masterpiece and Oscar contender HENERAL LUNA proved itself to be a massive sleeper hit, surpassing the P200 million breakeven mark by earning P40 million more in box offices! With a Marvel-esque trilogy in the works, the producers said that the film needed to reach the breakeven point in order to carry on with a second film.
And now, it’s official: the second film is now in the works, focusing on Goyong, more popularly known as Gen. Gregorio del Pilar, billed by Paulo Avelino!!
