A representative of YG Entertainment, the talent agency of Kpop girl group Blackpink, has officially come forward with the news that many Blinks have been waiting for: the debut of the solo music videos of members Rosé and Lisa!
Allkpop.com reported that YG Entertainment confirmed this in a statement, saying: “Both Rosé and Lisa are currently carrying out the necessary steps for their solo music releases. It’s true that there are plans for them to film MVs soon.”
This comes after an entertainment website had spread the rumor of Rosé’s solo debut next year that caused everyone to go wild on social media. “ROSÉ SOLO IS COMING” even became a top trending topic on Twitter.
YG also noted that the two girls will be releasing their solo songs before Jisoo, who “is scheduled to film her debut drama series ‘Snow Drop’.”
“We will release more specific details including time frames later on in an official announcement,” the agency added.
Jennie was the first in the group to release her debut solo single. She launched the track, titled “Solo,” on November 12, 2018, with an accompanying music video.
