It’s All About The Heart : UP Streetdance’s Street Fuzion 13: PUSO

My favorite part was when they danced these particular two segments: the “training” scene, which was cleverly choreographed ; and the all-girl scene wherein they all tried to comfort a certain friend who seemed to be very down.

As expected from true masterminds of streetdance, they also showcased very creative uses of streetdance. (L-R) First would be the use of everyday objects as music instruments which they rhythmically tapped, stomped at, shook, etc. as their dance’s background music. Second was when all of them were wearing blindfolds to show how blind people  can be when consumed under pride, failure, fame, and the like. The their third photo shows the “single ladies” and  the use of streetdance as role-playing and somewhat theatrical. Finally, the use of breakdance incorporated with parkour.

Finally, what cannot be missed in streetdance is the swagger attitude, and UP Streetdance is known for this. Sometimes a dance is nothing without feelings and attitude that’s why it’s crucial to always be in character! For example, if  the song’s strong, then you’ll feel strong…and thus dance stronger.

That’s just one emotion, but overall, it all comes from your heart. What you feel inside will come out in your dance.
